What will he ask for next? Wait no, that’s not where I was going… You see, my kids are in love with the “If you give a mouse a cookie” show on Primekids, so the intro is ALWAYS stuck in my head.
I have talked about my kids quite a bit, but now it’s my hubby’s time to shine 😉 .
Don’t worry babe, it’s just a baking blog.
My husband is a chocoholic to the max, like so extreme that if the dessert isn’t chocolate, he won’t even taste it! We go to restaurants and he looks at the dessert menu FIRST! If there’s no chocolate listed, he will not save room for something sweet.
“Chocolate is a fruit”, he tells me almost daily. We learned that when we took an anniversary trip to Hershey… it’s funny what sticks.
Just kidding, he’s the best, but a true lover of the cocoa bean!
So I decided to make him some good old Hershey’s Chocolate Chip Cookies, and decided to change it up a bit.
Don’t get me wrong, Hershey’s recipe is amazeballs on its own, but I wanted to try something new.
